Responses to “Adventism’s Sabbath Idolatry”
Your necklace, hearing (sic) and lipstick define who you are. God made you perfect; now you are corrupt with all the makeup. Examine yourself.

Responses from Viewers:
Viewer A: “I don’t wear jewelry or lipstick, but my hearing is excellent.”
Viewer B: “First of all, we who have born again spirits are being made perfect IN THE INNER MAN in imperfect unsaved bodies; we are not perfect YET. There’s nothing wrong with Colleen’s being like a Queen Esther, as her presentation is not focused on her outward beauty but in the meek, gentle, born-again spirit in her heart. She is glowing in the Holy Spirit, and she has a reason to not grieve like those without hope, so it shows on the outside the reality of what is going on in the inside.”
From online moderator Jim Liley: Just another example that those in the SDA counterfeit pseudo-Christian CULTIC organization are blessed with the ability to give such prideful, arrogant and ad-hominem responses? Frankly, I think it’s fear that they may have been deceived and don’t have any legitimate response to what is being presented.
Please Pray for Parents
I am someone that is transitioning out of the SDA church and trying to get settled in a Bible-believing church. Amidst this, I’ve been having great pushback against my parents who are Adventists, and I’ve been trying to explain to them how Adventism teaches another gospel, but they are unwilling to listen. This is really causing tension, because as a college student, I still live with them and I will likely live with them for the next couple of years. This is where my prayer request comes in. If you guys could, would you guys pray that my parents’ hearts would be softened? Also, that I would be able to still rejoice through this?
Finally, I just want to thank you for your ministry once again. It has helped me out tremendously as well as you guys responding to me for clarification.

Response: Thank you for writing and for sharing your request. We will pray for your parents and for you. What you are doing is one of the hardest things any of us ever do: extricate from Adventism and thus upset all the social and familial ties that have shaped our lives.
The Lord sees and knows and is at work. Remember Mark 10:29–31:
Jesus said, “Truly I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or farms, for My sake and for the gospel’s sake, except [one who] will receive one hundred times as much now in the present age–houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and farms, [along] with persecutions–and in the age to come, eternal life. “But many [who are] first will be last, and the last, first.”—Mark 10:29–31 LSB
The Lord does not abandon us or leave us as orphans. He places us in His own Body and provides family in Him as well as wisdom and discernment as we deal with the Adventists we love. He is faithful! †
